Jacaranda Strings is a dynamic and outstanding string quartet which has spent the last seven years establishing a business synonymous with exquisite music and matchless service.  Together we have played for more than six hundred weddings, and this brings a wealth of experience to each occasion in which we participate.  With one of the most diverse repertoires in the industry, we can easily create the perfect atmosphere at any function.  A typical play list can range from traditional hymns at the service, through the classics, to arrangements of popular songs at the reception.  In this way, we have introduced thousands of Queenslanders to the concept of fine live music that is enjoyable and affordable.

How are we different to other groups?  In a word, excellence.  Each member of Jacaranda Strings is a professional performer.  Not students casually playing together, but committed members of a business that believes there is no substitute for consistently high quality work.  Our players have performed in elite orchestras across the country and internationally, including the Qld Symphony and Qld Philharmonic, the West Australian Symphony, the Tasmanian Symphony, the Hong Kong Philharmonic and Camerata Australia.  Many reception centres in south- east Qld name Jacaranda Strings on their lists of recommended associates.

Furthermore, we run this enterprise ourselves, without intermediary agents.  Dealing directly with the players has several advantages: costs to the client are kept to a minimum, and communication is always clear.  We even offer a free arranging service, all so that you can feel confident that you'll hear the music you love.
